My name is Nikolina Kolokotroni. As a licensed counseling psychologist (Reg. No. 942), my journey in the field began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Essex. I then pursued a postgraduate diploma in Psychodynamic Counseling from the same University, and later, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nicosia. My diverse educational background provides me with a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to cater to a wide range of psychological needs.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the Integrative Model, which blends techniques from Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This model allows for flexibility in addressing various client needs, whether exploring deep-seated emotional issues or developing practical strategies for managing daily stressors. I believe in creating a collaborative and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.
I am dedicated to my continuous professional development (CPD), regularly engaging with the latest research, attending seminars, and participating in conferences. This ongoing education ensures that I stay informed about the latest advancements in psychology, which I integrate into my practice to provide the most effective and up-to-date therapy. I am fluent in both Greek and English, offering services in both languages to accommodate a wider range of clients.
