Online therapy
Online therapy is teletherapy with me, wherever you live. It is for people living abroad who are navigating the complexities of a new culture or feeling isolated from their home community.
Who is online therapy for?
Moving to another country can mean adjusting to a new culture while being far from the people and places you know. Online sessions let you work with a psychologist in Greek or English from wherever you are.
How do we work?
My work is rooted in the Integrative Model, which blends psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This gives us the flexibility to explore deep-seated emotional issues or to build practical strategies for managing daily stressors, depending on what you need.
I believe in a collaborative, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
How do online sessions work?
Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes.
Online sessions should be done in a safe and private environment that emulates the therapeutic environment of an in-person session. It is encouraged to choose a quiet room where you will not be interrupted and the use of headphones to protect your privacy. Sessions take place via an encrypted platform to support the security and confidentiality of our communication.
Your privacy and sense of safety are important, whether we meet in person or online.
